Install Flash Plugin on Ubuntu 9.04

I’ve just install the latest version of Ubuntu – 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope. Well, compare to previous version, installation is much faster, start up & shut down also faster.

Well, for linux OS, everythings are installed, what we need to do is to customize our own, what program we prefer to use.

For web browser, Firefox is included, but not the flash plugin due to not open source. So, we need to manually install the plugin.

1st, we need to go to Adobe website to download the flash plugin.

*Select “.deb for Ubuntu 8.04+ ”

Straight away choose open with package installer after finish download.

Once downloaded the plugin, it will auto open with package installer. Click install package.

It will auto download related files.

Installation finished will appeared after successful install.

Then , we need to reboot the machine, open firefox again and it will able to display flash.
