DIY Intel Based PC

I’ve just assembled an Intel based PC for my client. The specs of the PC is as below:

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0Ghz E4400
Intel D945GCPE Motherboard
Kingston 1GB DDR2 667 ram
Western Digital 80GB WD8000JD SATA Hardisk
Samsung 17″ 732N Plus LCD Monitor
Altec Lansing 121i Speaker System
Logitech Internet Pro Desktop Keyboard + Mouse
Samsung 20x DVDRW
1.44MB FDD & External Card Reader
Koss 800VA AVR
ATX Casing

Total: RM2000

Is quite a good choice for those who want to purchase intel based PC.

Samsung 17″ 732N Plus LCD

This LCD comes with 5ms response time, and superior image quality with 2000:1 contrast.

Intel Core 2 Duo E4400

This 65nm Conroe code name processor comes with 2.0Gh, 800Mhz FS, and 2MB L2 cache. Even though this is not a high end processor, but it’s enough for normal use.

Intel D945GCPE Motherboard

This Intel essential series micro ATX motherboard cames with necessary features such as built in Intel GMA950 on board display, 8 USB ports, 2 SATA and 1 IDE interfaces.

For Intel platform, installation of processor is different compare to AMD platform. We need to open the cover and lever, insert the processor ( do not force in, if in correct position, it should go in smoothly ), and close back the lever and cover, then only we insert the fan.

For speaker, i gave my client Altec Lansing 121i speaker. Why ? because budget problem… haha

Overall, this set of PC is not bad. Unfortunately my client need urgently, i have no time to benchmark the system and show u all the result…
