My friend Simon asked me… What is blog ?
For simple answer, blog can be consider as a online journal or online diaries where people can read what we post and leave comments. More info & history about “blog” can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog.
For those who write blog or own a blog we called he/she a ” blogger “.
To own a blog and become blogger, there are 2 simple ways. The 1st way is to join the free blog host community such as http://www.blogger.com/start or http://www.blogcharm.com/portal.php and lots more available on internet. The 2nd way is for those who own a domain and web space, they can host their own blogging platform such as Wordpress, Typepad, b2evolution, Nucleus, pMachine Free and etc.
To use the free blog host is very simple. Just 3 simple steps and u r ready to blog provided by blogger.com.
- Create an account
- Name your blog
- Choose a template
How to register & start blogging:
1. The new version of blogger require google gmail account. Therefore for those without gmail, kindly open 1 account. Click here to register gmail. After than then put your gmail address here.
2. Enter a password for your account.
3. Retype password.
4. Enter a usename which used for login your account and your
5. Type the character u see on the image. This is to prevent spam that automatically register account.
6. Read the term of service and then click it, the press the continue button to proceed to below page.
Name Your Blog:
1. Enter blog title which suite your style.
2. Enter a blog address for others to access your site. Make sure the subdomain name your enter are available. Then press continue button to proceed.
Choose Template: .
Choose a template which suite you then press continue button. The template is the layout of your blog.
Once you reached above page means that your blog already created. Just press the start posting button to login to your account.
Once registered the http://diyersitzone.blogspot.com/ url will be your blog address. Everytime people enter the url they can read your blog.
