SplitFile

We often send/attach files through email. But normally there are file size limitation on the free email service. To avoid the limitation, users can split the file into smaller pieces. To do this Splitfile give a simple job.

FEATURES:

  • A lot of size preset: not only standard ones (floppy and CD-R) but also uncommon ones (ZIP disk, 800MB CD-R, DVD-R)
  • You can choose to split the file according to the desiderated size or to the number of parts you need
  • Several units selectable (from bytes to GB). Only SplitFile let you split GB of data!
  • You can choose the read/write buffer to improve performances (SplitFile’s exlusive feauture)
  • You can pause the task
  • 2 join methods: through the Graphical User Interface ( GUI ) of this program, or through an executable file that can be used also by who doesn’t have SplitFile
  • You can choose to be asked before overwriting a file that already exists
  • You can directly Split/Join the files in a destination folder different from the source one(to easily find the files) and also on different drives (to speed up the process)

Wimax in Malaysia

As announced recently, 4 companies had been given wimax license to provide wimax services in Malaysia.

Bizsurf (M) Sdn Bhd, MIB Comm Sdn Bhd, Asiaspace Dotcom Sdn Bhd and Redtone-CNX Broadband Sdn Bhd were given licences to operate WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) networks.

Bizsurf, MIB Comm and Asiaspace Dotcom will cover peninsular Malaysia while Redtone-CNX Broadband will serve Sabah and Sarawak.In takes around 3 years to implement, after that most of the malaysian can use broadband internet service through wimax. Well, here i will touch a little bit of what is wimax.

WiMax (802.16e) is a newer standard of wireless networking designed to provide the last mile of high speed internet access to the end user.

My new handset Motorola V3i

I just brought a new handset, Motorola V3i. It come with 1GB memory ( after upgraded from 512MB ) and Moto HS803 bluetooth headset.

Blog~2

In my previous post i’ve mentioned about how to register for blogger account. This post i will show how to write article/post using the dashboard provided.

Login your account. You will see the screen below which is your dashboard.

1. “New post” is used to write a new article/post.

2. “Create blog” is used to create a new blog using same account. By default the blog will be the one you setup during registration.

3. “View blog” is used to view your blog. Once you click it, it will redirect you to your blog url.

4. “Manage post” is used to manage your posts. Such as edit or delete the post.

5. “Manage setting” is used for your account configuration.

6. “Manage layout” is used to edit your blog layout. Such as template, font & colors, html template and etc.

To own a blog and become blogger, there are 2 simple ways. The 2nd way is for those who own a domain and web space, they can host their own blogging platform such as Wordpress, Typepad, b2evolution, Nucleus, pMachine Free and etc.

To use the free blog host is very simple. Just 3 simple steps and u r ready to blog provided by blogger.com.

My AIO printer

I just brought a All In One printer yesterday…

Now i’m studying, therefore is difficult for me without printer .

I brought HP F380 AIP printer which can do copy, printing & scanning.

WordPress 2.1.1 dangerous, Upgrade to 2.1.2

Long story short: If you downloaded WordPress 2.1.1 within the past 3-4 days, your files may include a security exploit that was added by a cracker, and you should upgrade all of your files to 2.1.2 immediately. Longer explanation: This morning we received a note to our security mailing address about unusual and highly exploitable code

Not even 1 week i upgraded to version 2.1.1…. now have to upgrade version 2.1.2…
