Another trick to disable WGA Validation Check
Problems with the Windows Genuine Advantage check?
Dont need the hasle?
Well Microsoft made the check as an add-on so heres how you disable it 
| 1. Open Internet Explorer |
| 2. Goto http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com |
| 3. Download the WGA update and install it |
| 4. Restart of XP if asked |
| 5. Open Internet Explorer |
| 6. Goto Tools > Manage Add-ons.. |
| 7. Select “Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer” from the dropdown menu |
| 8. Now find the “Windows Genuine Advantage” Add-on and disable it |
Now goto Windows Update and get your updates
